Josh is a mechanical engineer with a Master’s Degree in engineering management and is currently undertaking a PhD in electrical engineering, all from Stellenbosch University. Josh’s professional focus lies in renewable energy, electricity markets, and generator grid integration. He provided technical support to over 100 electric utilities and regulators across Africa to integrate rooftop solar into their grids for the past 6 years. He is currently a senior engineer at the CRSES.
