Dr Chantelle van Staden holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch. She is currently a Senior Lecturer and researcher at Stellenbosch University, specializing in distributed energy integration, energy systems modelling and planning, with a focus on geospatial energy integration planning. She is currently the research lead for the Eskom Power Engineering Program, working on projects for transmission, generational and Distribution.
